Archived Messages On Facebook: In the message-list home window you could see a 'x' at the end of each message. If you click on it, the message is removed from the message-list. However, it is not removed, so you could get it back if you like. To 'unarchive' the archived message click on eyeglass symbol next to "Browse Message". As shown in figure below:
When you click on the symbol, it increases to reveal you a menu as received number listed below. Click "Archived Message" to see all the messages you had actually archived in the past. You can read them or unarchive to remind the message-list.
Removing Facebook message
To delete a message, open up a specific message by clicking among the message shown (displayed in very first number over). The click "Actions" switch close to "Look This Conversation" box as received the figure below. Click on "Remove Messages ...".
If you have more than one messages in the checklist, Facebook asks if you intend to "Delete All" or "Remove Selected". Select the appropriate choices as well as you have removed the message.
As, deleting gets rid of message completely, Facebook asks to confirm the last deletion:.
