Facebook Archive Message: In the message-list window you could see a 'x' at the end of each message. If you click on it, the message is removed from the message-list. Yet, it is not removed, so you could get it back if you like. To 'unarchive' the archived message click eyeglass symbol close to "Browse Message". As displayed in figure listed below:
When you click on the symbol, it increases to show you a menu as shown in figure below. Click "Archived Message" to see all the messages you had archived in the past. You can read them or unarchive to remind the message-list.
Removing Facebook message
To remove a message, open up a private message by clicking among the message shown (displayed in initial figure over). The click "Activities" switch beside "Look This Conversation" box as shown in the number listed below. Click on "Remove Messages ...".
If you have greater than one messages in the list, Facebook asks if you want to "Delete All" or "Erase Picked". Select the appropriate alternatives and also you have removed the message.
As, deleting eliminates message permanently, Facebook asks to verify the final removal:.
